I tackled this project out of curiosity and the desire to do a bit of puzzle solving. I recognized what I believed was a vowel pattern in the symbols, and it occured to me that it was an early attempt at a written version of the language, meaning it was probably phoneme-based. A primitive people separated from each other need some way to encode speech for trade and commerce purposes, first attempts at written languages are often icons representing the common fragments of their speech, like the "CH" sound, the sibilant "SS", the hard "CK". Sound byte syllables that can include consonants and vowels in a single icon. The number of unique symbols on the Phaistos Disc also fell into the range we might expect if we broke ancient Greek into phonemes, that was my initial intuition on the matter. I suspected it was an early attempt to develop a writing system to convey messages in the early Greek language before an alphabet existed.
AI is a powerful tool that was not available until recently, it helped me to verify all my old physics work was valid and the physicists ignoring it were wrong to do so. So I figured I'd apply my intuition to the problem of cracking the code on the Phaistos Disc. Once the AI and I found a translation that seemed to work, we applied it to the other two artifacts, found one error and corrected it, but both the other objects also gave translations of relevance to the location they were found and concerns of the people of the age. I think it was an evening well-spent.
The first file in rich text format contains the strict translations of all three artifacts, the "Dictionary" file was extracted for convenience in PDF format, and the "Full Conversation Simplified" file is the AI's recording of the conversation without advertising and crazy formatting that makes it almost impossible to convert and read directly from the original conversation.
